After studying International Business and Economics at university, Hugh began his career in executive search, spending five years as a head-hunter. The role honed his instinct for understanding people, navigating complex negotiations and operating with absolute discretion.
Hugh joined the Savills Country House team in 2011 and has never looked back. Working closely with teams across eight regional offices, Hugh advises on the sale of prime country houses throughout the northern Home Counties, covering an arc across the Chilterns. He is recognised for his meticulous, highly focused approach and for delivering an exceptional level of duty of care to every client.
Alongside his regional work, Hugh is a key member of Savills Private Office, acting for high-profile and ultra-high-net-worth clients for whom discretion, insight and tailored advice are paramount. He also Co-Heads the Sports, Media & Entertainment team, supporting clients whose professional lives require flexibility, confidentiality and a nuanced understanding of lifestyle-driven property needs.
